I am a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia (UBC). As a bilingual therapist (Spanish–English) with lived experience across cultures and borders, I support those navigating layered identities, cultural disconnection, and systemic harm—always with respect for your full humanity. Whether you're moving through life transitions, identity exploration, grief, anxiety, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with care and compassion.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from humanistic, somatic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based practices. I support clients in cultivating emotional awareness, self-compassion, and reconnection with their inner wisdom and values.
My work is deeply informed by my bicultural identity and a life lived across cultures and geographies. I was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seoul, Toronto, and now Kelowna, BC, on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Syilx (Okanagan) peoples. These experiences—and the movement between languages, lands, and identities—shape my relational, decolonial, and community-rooted approach to care.
As I continue to reclaim and reconnect with my Mexican Indigenous roots, this personal journey informs how I hold space—for others to remember, reconnect, and reimagine their own wholeness. I believe healing happens not only within the individual, but also in relationship—with ourselves, with land, with community, and with our ancestors.
In addition to individual therapy, I facilitate healing circles and therapeutic groups that integrate yoga, creative expression, land-based practices, and collective care—grounded in the collectivist and earth-honoring traditions of my Mexican roots.
I am also a certified yoga teacher, trained in Susana Barkataki’s Embody Yoga’s Roots approach, which honors yoga’s origins as a practice of social justice, inclusion, and liberation. Yoga complements my therapeutic work by fostering mind–body connection and nurturing embodied resilience as a pathway to healing.
Menstrual cycle awareness (MCA) is another dimension of my personal life and therapeutic practice, supporting reconnection with the cyclical nature of life as a source of healing, creativity, and inner wisdom. This practice honors the body’s rhythms and invites a deeper connection to ancestral ways of knowing, seasonal living, and embodied care.
I have a deep love for travel, learning from different cultures, and connecting with people and places through shared stories and experiences. Outside of therapy, I enjoy painting with watercolors, cooking, spending time in nature, and attending live music and art events that nourish my spirit.

Mi forma de acompañamiento nace de una vida entre fronteras y una identidad bicultural atravesando contextos culturales y sistemas que no siempre estuvieron hechos para personas como yo. Nací en Jalisco, México, y he vivido en San Francisco, Seúl, Toronto y ahora sostengo mi práctica en Kelowna, BC, territorio ancestral del pueblo Syilx. En mi tiempo libre disfruto pintar con acuarela, cocinar, pasar tiempo en la naturaleza y asistir a eventos de arte y música en vivo.
